May 18, 1961 at 8 :00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers was established as the date, time and place for re- consideration of Use Permit No. 717 filed by the Balboa Bay Club, Inc., to permit (through its subsidiary torpor - tion, Seacraft Boat Co.) certain marine services usually and customarily furnished by private yacht clubs includ- ing (a) janitorial services, clean up.and minor mainten- ance of boats of members (not including major overhaul or drydocking on the premises); (b),sale to club members of marine and boating supplies and equipment; (c) servic s of licensed yacht broker to handle sales or charters of Motion x members' boats. Smith, requesting investigation of a "public nuisance" on property known as 1743 Skylark Lane, Lot LS Tract 30979 Newport Beach, Samuel R. Frazier, M.D. The following action was taken by the Commission: "It is the opinion of the.Planning Commission that Motion x the radio tower considered in Use Permit applica- Second x tion No. 728- is- incompatible with an R -1 -B District All Ayes and should -not be permitted as an accessory use at this location." ' 2. Referred to the Planning Commission was a letter addressed to the City Council dated April 18, 1961, signed by Ralph P.
