Chairman Clemence stated that this was the first public hearing on the adoption of a Master Plan for Corona del Mar. The Chairman stated that no action would be taken on the plan, that the intent of the meeting was for information and discussion by interested citizens, and that further public hearings would be set when definitive amendments were drafted. The Chairman introduced Mr. Murton H. Willson, A.I.A. and Mr. Dell M. Williams, A.I.A., the Planning Con- sultants. Mr. Willson, in answer to audience inquiry, explained some aspects of the plan, particularly as the plan affected Buck Gully and other areas. The hearing • was closed. Motion x Second x AMENDMENTS All Ayes A -195 Planning Commission Amendment No. 195 which proposes to amend Districting Map No. 17 in order to establish APPROVED 5 foot front yard setbacks on Bayside Drive on Parcels A, B, and C of Lots 2, 4, 6, Block 333, Corona del Mar Tract (2700, 2706 & 2710 Bayside Drive) was recommended to the City Council for approval. A request from Mr. Wallace S. Stevenson dated December • 29, 1964 for amendment of condition imposed on Use Permit No. 1089 filed by Kenneth W. The Commission, by unanimous action, went on record in concurring with the action of the City Council in reaffirming its opposition to the Pacific Coast Freeway route, adopted by the California Highway Commission, and the refusal of the City to enter into a Freeway Agreement with the State of California.
