Nelson Helen Herrmann MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of February 1, 1968 were approved on the motion of Commissioner Copelin, seconded by Commissioner Clark, and carried. M&KER PLAN AMENDMENTS Chairman Curtis opened the public hearing in NO. 17 connection with Master Plan Amendment No. 17 APPROVED being A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER STREET AND HIGHWAY PLAN in order to reflect a.realignment of Ford Road and Mac Arthur Boulevard in the Upper Harbor View Hills area. Mr. Richard A. Reese of the Irvine Company Addressed the Commission. Resolution No. 705 was adopted recommending to Motion x the City Council the adoption of the subject Second. x amendment incorporating therein Public Works All Ayes Exhibit "A ". BUSINESS The Commission asked.that the Irvine Company.. and staff present a review of the overall plan of the Master Plan of Streets and Highways and indicated that they would like to be brought up to date on the freeway situation at the • study session on April 18, 1968. On motion of Commissioner Clemence, seconded by Commissioner Clark, and carried, the meetin was adjourned until March 7,1968 at 8:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers.
