Am Place: Council Chambers 1d p ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Clark, Clemence, Copelin, Ficka , Higbie, O'Brien, Marshall, Rudd, Steelman MINUTES Minutes of the regular meeting on January 19, 1961 and adjourned meeting on February 2, 1961 were approved on the motion of Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commissioner Copelin, and carried. FINAL MAPS Tract The final map of Tract 3660, being a proposed subdivision 3660 consisting of 20.85 acres divided into 54 lots and located north of 5th Avenue and easterly of MacArthur APPROVED Boulevard in Corona del Mar was 'recommended to the City Council for approval, subject to the following conditions: 1. CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH COMMISSIONERS MW ADDITIONAL USINESS On motion of Commissioner Marshall, March 2, 1961 at 1. 8:00 P.M. was established as the date and time to con- sider Planning Commission Amendment 105 which proposes Motion x to rezone a Portion of Lot 1013, First Addition to Second x Newport Mesa Tract from an R -1 to an M -1 -A District. All Ayes 2. Chairman Clemence appointed Commissioner O'Brien to serve on the following committees: Board of Adjustments, Parks, Beaches & Recreation Liaison and Subdivision. 3. Presented to the Commission was Use Permit No. 721 filed by Max M. Russell, District Superintendent and Secretary to the Board of Newport Harbor Union High School District, requesting the construction of a high school and accessory uses in an Unclassified District located on a Portion of Block 56, Irvine's Subdivision. The Commission, having reviewed the site plan at an earlier study session, approved the application subject to the condition that the site plan be in accordance Motion x with Drawings No. 30 -125 and 30 -126 on file in the Second x • Planning Department, City of Newport Beach. The Commission directed that Commissioner Marshall draft a resolution which will convey to Mr. Redmon its feeling of loss that he is leaving the City, commending him for Motion x his fine service to the Planning Commission and wishing Second x him success in his new job.
