A request dated February 10, 1964, signed by George M. Olson, for an extension of Use Permit 929 which permits the sale of deer and wine at 3295 Newport Blvd., Newport Beach (Galley West Gourmet) was approved for the term of the lease or until there is a change of ownership, whichever comes first. The Commission considered a request dated February 13, 1964 from the Building and Safety Director for a general interpretation of grade as related to number of stories and height of structure as governed by Article IX, in connection with a proposed dwelling for B. B. • Masten, 328 Hazel Drive, Corona del Mar Upon a review of the plans presented by a representative Motion of the Building Department, the Commission stated that, Second in its opinion, the proposed development constituted All Ayes 3 stories as defined by the Uniform Building Code. 3. Presented to the Commission for reconsideration was Resubdivision No. 178 filed by James B. Rogers and Security First National Bank, co- trustees on Lots 107, 108 and 109, Subdivision of Block A, East Newport Beach Tract. New information and evidence submitted by the City Attorney, not before the Commission at the time of the hearing on January 2, 1964, was not, in the opinion of the Commission, of sufficient nature to warrant Motion reconsideration.
