Resolution No. 676, being A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSIDER CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLE IX OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO HELICOPTERS, HELIPORTS AND HELISTOPS was adopted and set for public hearing on April 1, 1965 Motion x at 8 :00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers. The planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 677 recommending to the City Council that Section 8150 of Article VIII of the Municipal Code pertaining to Building Regulations be amended so that only a 3 foot fence, instead of a 5 foot fence, be required along side property line within front setback provided a bulkhead of a minimum of 5 feet in height above mean high tide exists. (The Building Department has interpreted under the above Section that where a bulkhead exists a 5 foot fence need not be required along front property line.)
