Minutes of the regular meeting on March 19, 1964, ad-

were approved on motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded
by Commissioner Curtis, and carried.

ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
The Planning Commission clarified the intent of its
action upon Variance No. 798 filed by Marion Holmes on
property located at 606k, w. Balboa Boulevard, Newport
Beach, Lot 26, Block 4, East Newport Tract, Zone R 3,
and established that the 21' save overhang into the
rear yard could be computed as part of the covered
parking requirement, approved depth of 19'6" instead
of required 20' for two covered parking spaces, and
subject to the condition that the supporting posts
