Newport Beach, California' on Friday evening, May 2nd, 1941
at 7,30 P.M., Chairman Johnson presiding. Meeting called
to order by the Chairman.
Commissioners present: Hall, Estus, Hopkins, Seager,
Johnson, Patterson
Commissioners absent: Allen, Findlay, Nelson.

There being no protests, and having been none, either writ-
ten or verbal, Com. Patterson moved the adoption of Resolu-
tion No. 186 recommending that the property on the highway .

tice be changed to 0-2 Zone and that Ordinance 440 be amend-
ed to so read, Com. Estus seconded the motion.

Chairman Johnson declared the hearing open
for discussion. After some discussion among the members and
there being no protests, either written or verbal, Com. Pat-
terson moved the adoption of Resolution No. 187 recommend-
ing that Clarke R. Thomas be granted a 50% (1811) side yard,
setback on both the north and south rear side lines on Lot
34, Tract 742, Balboa Island for the purpose of construct-
ing a garage. Com. Estus seconded the motion,
