COMMISSIONERS Place: Council Chambers S 1p1 k V 1r1 t ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Clark, Clemence,.Copelin, Picker, Higbie, O'Brien, Marshall, Rudd Commissioners Absent: Steelman MINUTES Minutes of the regular meeting on April 20, 1961 and adjourned meeting on May 4, 1961 were approved on the motion of Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Commis- sioner Rudd, and carried. AMENDMENTS A -109 Presented to the Commission was Amendment 109 which pro- poses to amend and add District Maps to the Newport Beach Municipal Code in order to rezone certain property. The following portions of subject amendment were recommended to the City Council for approval. APPROVED Amend District Map No. 23 which will rezone a Motion x Portion of Lot 171, Block 54, Irvine's Subdivision Second located on the south side of Coast Highway extend- All Ayes ing from Bayshore Drive on the west to Newport Bay on the east, f:'om an Unclassified to an R -3 District. • Amend District Map No. 23 which will rezone a Portion of Block 54, Irvine's Subdivision located along the south side of Coast Highway from the bay bridge on the west to Bayside Drive and con- tinuing along the west side of Bayside Drive to the bridge to Linda Island and the R -1 Zone, from an Unclassified to a C -1 -H District. Add District Map No. 37 which will rezone a Portion of Block 54, Irvine's Subdivision located on the southeast corner of Coast Highway and Bayside Drive from an Unclassified to a C -1 -H District. Amend District Map No. 24 which will rezone a Portion of Lot 181, Tract 2813, located in Irvine Park in Irvine Terrace, south of Coast Highway, from an Unclassified to an R -1 District. Amend District Map No. 24 which will rezone a Portion of Parcel C and all of Parcel B as shown on Resubdivision map No. 117 approved by the Planning Commission on March 17, 1960, located north of Bayside Drive and easterly of E1 Paseo Drive from an Unclassified to an R -1 District. Amend District Map No. 30 which will rezone a Portion of Lot 151, Irvine's Subdivision, located approximately 600' south of Tract 3068 and easterly of Tustin Avenue from an Unclassified to an R -1 District.
