The Commission requested the legal and planning staff
to make an investigation among other cities having
structures similar to that requested in the reconsidera-
tion of the subject matter to determine (1) are same
considered to be hotels, motels, apartments or dwellings
groups? (2) Density requirements. (3) Parking
requirements.
It was indicated by the Commission that there may be
some justification to permit bar type kitchens in hotel
or motel units, however, under present regulations, the
bar type kitchen would be considered as a dwelling unit.
