Engineer: Ervin Engineering, Los Angeles
Discussion was opened in connection with this
matter and staff answered questions and reviewed
the final tract map with the Planning Commission
Roy Higa, Ervin Engineering, 729 S. Parkview,
Los Angeles, appeared before the Commission on
behalf of M. J. Brock & Sons, and concurred with
the staff report and recommendations.
There being no others desiring to appear and be
heard, the discussion was closed.

Motion was made that Planning Commission recomme
All Ayes
to the City Council that the Final Map of Tract
No. 7967 be approved, subject to the following
conditions:
1. That all applicable conditions of approval
for the amended tentative map of Tract No:
7967 be fulfilled.
2. That "Riptide Drive" be replaced by "Atoll
Drive" on the Final Map prior to recordation
Request to consider an amendment to Chapter 20.0
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code pertaining
to revisions in the height limitations as they
pertain to the Ford Aeronutronics site and the
North Ford Area, located northerly of Ford Road
and between Jamboree Road and MacArthur Boulevar

consider an amendment to Title 20 of the Newport
Beach Municipal Code pertaining to nonconforminc
properties which have subsequently been voluntar
ily brought into conformity with the Municipal
Code and by such action would preclude the re-
establishment of the former nonconforming con.dit
