The Planning Commission recommende abandonment of Lafayette Avenue subject to the provision for dedication and improvement of 28th Street as shown on a map dated February 19, 1963 prepared by Jack S. The Planning Commission considered an appeal filed by J. Herbert Brownell in behalf of his client W. C. Davidson from a decision of the Building Department denying a building permit application to add a game room and bath to property located at 1505 Sylvia Lane, Newport Beach, California. The Commission reversed the decision of the Building Department subject to the condition that the owner sign a statement, to be prepared by the City Attorney's office and to be recorded, covenanting and agreeing that the game room and bath will not be rented but shall be used only in conjunction with,and as an integral part Motion x of, the main dwelling.
