with members Fenelon; E. G. `Sherman, Wilkinson, and William -
son present; also Mayor Johnson, City -- Engineer Patterson,
and City Attorney Thompson, ex— officon members._
Reading of minutes of previous meeting was dispensed with.
The tentative man of the Frick Subdivision +.vas approved uron
motion of E. G. Sherman, seconded by Fenelon.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.

iamson, seconded by Tiliinson, the notion carryin; the pro
visio that ordinarily the Commission would not accept a mzap
providinE for lots: less than thirty feet in width, but that
the special circumstances governing the case would permit tham
in the instance at issue.
Messrs. Cloyes, Lucas, Fulton, and Rawlings were present and
a general discussion was entered into regarding the manner o£
securing public beach frontage to the seaward of the Corona
del "ar section.
A motion made by Briggs, and seconded by Williamson, was c^:.,, --
ied unanimously, which motion was in the form of a recomenda44-
tion from the Commission that the City Council enter into ne-
notiotiations be entered into with W. S. Sparr, owner of the
ocean beach frontage in question to obtain if possible a favor-
able price on Block B and arty accretions oceanward thereof lyin,..
between the Southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Hell -
.iotrone Avenue and the Southerly prolongation of the Masterly
line of Jasmine Avemle, provided that proper extension of Lir
Soarrls title to such accretions can be whoswn; and that fail -
fing to determine upon a price satisfactory to the city, a gait
be instituted in the Superior Court. of Orange County to deter-
mine by court decree the ordinary line of high tide of the Pac-
ific Ocean alonf said shore line,as a preliminary to condein -
tion proceeeings of the herein above described area.
