MINUTES
Minutes of the regular meeting on June 20, 1963 were
approved on the motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded
by Commissioner Jakosky; and carried.

ELECTION OF
OFFICERS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1963 - 1964
Nominations for Chairman were opened. Commissioner
Alvan C. Clemence was nominated by Commissioner Rea,
seconded by Commissioner Jakosky. There being no
further nominations for Chairman, the nominations were
closed on motion of Commissioner Copelin, seconded by
Commissioner Jakosky, and carried.

Nominations for let Vice Chairman were opened. Commis -
sioner William P. Ficker was nominated by Commissioner
Copelin, seconded by Commissioner Rea. There being no
further nominations for 1st Vice Chairman, the nomina-
tions were closed on motion of Commissioner Jakosky,
seconded by Commissioner Copelin, and carried.
Nominations for 2nd Vice Chairman were opened. Commis-
sioner William B. Clark was nominated by Commissioner Rag,
seconded by Commissioner Higbie. ,There being no further
nominations for 2nd Vice Chairman, the nominations were
closed on motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded by
Commissioner Autry, and carried.
Nominations for Secretary were opened. Commissioner
Ray Y. Copelin was nominated by Commissioner Jakosky,
seconded by Commissioner Rea. There being no further
nominations for Secretary, the nominations were closed

on motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded by Commissioner
Autry, and carried.
On motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded by Commissioner
Jakosky, the Commission unanimously approved all nomina-
tions and the offices of Chairman, lot Vice Chairman,
2nd Vice Chairman and Secretary were declared filled.
MASTER PLAN
AMENDMENTS
No
Master Plan Amendment No. 7 was adopted by Resolution No
661 which proposes.to amend the Land.Use element of the
APPROVED
Master Plan to show residential and commercial uses it
an area bounded by Coast Highway 101, Jamboree Road and
1 Bayside Drive, Newport Beach, California, and was recom-
mended to the City Council for approval.
