MINUTES
Minutes of the regular meeting on June 22, 1961 and
adjourned meeting on July 6, 1961 were approved on
the motion of Commissioner Marshall, seconded by
Commissioner Rudd, and carried.

ELECTION OF
DFFICERS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1961 - 1962
Nominations for Chairman were opened. Commissioner
Alvan C. Clemence was nominated by Commissioner
Steelman, seconded by Commissioner Rudd and elected by
acclamation.
Commissioner Steelman nominated Commissioner Marshall
for let Vice Chairman, seconded by Commissioner Copelin.
Commissioner Marshall nominated Commissioner Picker for
2nd Vice Chairman, seconded by Commissioner Copelin and
Commissioner Rudd nominated Commissioner Copelin for

Secretary, seconded by,Commissioner Marshall.
The Commission, acting as a whole, unanimously endorsed
all nominations and the offices of 1st Vice Chairman,
2nd Vice Chairman and Secretary were declared filled.
Chairman Clemence expressed his appreciation for the
honor of being re-elected-as Chairman of the Planning
Commission for the fiscal year 1961 -1962 and thanked
the Commission for its fine cooperation and outstanding
job during the past year.
