Commissioners Absent: Jakosky TENTATIVE MkPS Tract 6015 The tentative map of Tract 6015, being a proposed sub- division of 147 acres divided into 32 lots, located north of Pacific Coast Highway, between Jamboree Road and Mac Arthur Boulevard (proposed Newport Center commercial development) was held over until August 19, Motion 1965 at the request of the applicant. Second All Ayes AMENDMENTS A-208 BALBOA BAY CLUB, INC. 1221 W. Coast Hwy., N.B. Por. Block 54 Irvine's Subdivision Zone R-4 Applicant requests permission to amend Districting Map No. 6 so as to cause subject property to be rezoned from an R -4 to a C -O -Z District. • Commissioner Copelin made the following motion which Motion x resulted in a tie vote; "The Planning Commission Second recommends that the City Council rezone the subject Ayes property to a C -O -Z zone subject to the condition that Noes x x adequate guarantees be worked out with the lessee to assure that the proposed apartment building will be con- structed in such a way that it substantially conforms to the preliminary plans submitted to this Commission.
