Commissioner Higbie joined the meeting. AMENDMENTS A -158 Planning Commission Amendment No. 158 which proposes to amend Section 9105.2(b) of the Newport Beach Municipal APPROVED Code relating to fences in yard setbacks was recommended to the City Council for approval. Motion x Second x All Ayes A -170 Planning Commission Amendment No. 170 which proposes to amend Planning and Zoning Regulations in order to APPROVED delegate authority to the Planning Director to render decisions on certain classes of use permits and variance Motion x was recommended to the City Council for approval. Presented to the Planning Commission was a memorandum dated August 15, 1963 signed by R. A. Glenn, Director of Building and Safety, requesting.an expression as to whether a building plan filed by C.
