Resolution of Intention No. 642 was initiated in ordeA ;
to hold one public hearing on an amendment to the
Master Plan which would delete Lancaster Street as a Motion
secondary street from the Street and Highway Unit of Second
the Master Plan. All Ayes ;

Committee recommended to the Commission that Section
9107.28 of the Zoning Regulations be amended to read ;
as follows: I ,
GRADE (Ground Level) is the average of the

finished ground level at the center of all walls
of a building. In case walls are parallel to and
within five feet (51) of a sidewalk, the above
ground level shall be measured at the sidewalk.
HEIGHT OF BUILDING is the vertical distance from
the '!Grade" to the highest point of the coping of
a flat roof or to the deck line of a mansard roof
or to the average height of the highest gable of
a pitch or hip roof.

Commissioner Lind stated that the City Council had ;
adopted the 1958 Uniform Building Code and that this ;
proposed amendment would conform to the definition ;
of "Grade" and "Height of Buildings" as set forth in ;
the Uniform Building Code. ;
The Planning Commission unanimously endorsed the ; Motion a
recommendations of the Land Use Committee regarding i Second
the redefinition of Section 9107.28 and recommended All Ayes
that this proposed amendment be forwarded to the City
Council for consideration prior to a public hearing.

the meeting was adjourned by Mr. Schulte until
