Minutes of the 'regular meeting on Octotier 20, 1960 and
adjourned meeting November 3, 1960 were approved on
the motion of Commissioner Copelin, seconded by
Commissioner Marshall, and carried.

The Commission considered an appeal filed by M. C. Selva

appealing from a decision of the Building Department
denying his application for a building permit.
The Building Department denied the building application
plans for the reason that, in their opinion, the struc-

ture was designed for 3 dwelling units on an R -2 lot.
The Planning Commission, after reviewing the plans and
hearing testimony at the meeting, overruled the decision
of the Building Department with the condition that the
owners sign a statement, to be prepared''by the City
Attorney's office and to be recorded, covenanting and
agreeing that the bedroom and bath area on the first
floor, adjacent to the garage area, shall be used only
in conjunction with,and as an integral part of, the
