After considerable discussion with Mr. Sturtevant a
motion to reconsider the application on December 3, 'Motion
1959 at 8:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers Second
carried. All Ayes
ADDITIONAL:BUSINESS ;
1. The Planning Director submitted to the Commission
proposed amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance which
would permit the legislative body, as recommended by
the Commission, to consider a redesign of lot lines
in an established subdivision of less than five acres:
without going through tentative and final map pro-
cedure.

The Commission favorably approved the recommendations:
as set forth in the subject memorandum prepared by ;
the City Attorney and suggested that the contents be
discussed with the City Council prior to holding any
• public hearings thereon.
2.; Presented to the Commission was a request from Attorney
Rod Lippold, representative of certain property owners
along Marriners Mile, that Amendment No. 62 initiated;
by the Planning Commission on November 20, 1958 which;
proposes to rezone property located on the south side;
of Coast Highway, between the Arches and the Balboa
Bay Club, from a C -2 to a C -2 -H District be withdrawn;
Said amendment was tabled by the Commission at a
previous hearing until such time as the 11-H" parking i
formula could be revised.
The Planning Commission unanimously approved the re-
quest of the property owners along Marriners Mile
that the subject amendment be withdrawn and that this
recommendation be forwarded to the City Council for
consideration. I
