A Petition bearing the names of a large number of property owners and residents of Rlboa Island was presence- to tine Co ami. lion requesting that no ohaiiges in pre(;ent ordinarices or zoning be apprive(1 that would effect 3a.lbua leland as a. purely residential bection,& :vim. ^iie Cirairmaii requesteu teie Secretary to read a number of letters from property owners and residents protesting any change in existing ordinances or zoning that would in any manner injure Balboa Island as a residential district On motion of E,I,Moore with second by John Vogel the Secretary was instructec. to advise the City Council that it was referring the request of the Balboa Yacht Club for thirty foot pier, and overhaul back to their body, With no action taken, and without prejudice to the petitioners, for the reason that the sponsors of this petition had withdrawn same without prejudice. On motion of John Vogel with second by E.I. Moore the oecretary was requester to ask the City Council to take necessary steps to correct the conjestion in flow of'traffici at Agate Park on the west end of Balboa Island. On motion of E.I.M) ore with second by Hal Will • Srnith Chairman Parks was authorized to contact S.E.R.A. organization for the purpose ofarranging o: the crafting of 'ilLaps of the City of Nerport Beach for use in zoning work.
