ESTABLISH- ING THE GRADES AND CURB LINES ON CHANNEL PLACE AND RIVER AVENUE, AND ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF 39TH. STREET, 40TH, STREET, 41ST. STREET, 42ND. STREET, 43RD. STREET, 44TH. STREET AND 45TH- STREET WITHIN THE SAID CITY. The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do ordain as fol- lows: SECTION ONE. The official grade of River Avenue from the northwesterly line of 38th. Street to the southwesterly line of Channel Place is hereby established to conform to the following elevations, to -wit: Along the northeasterly curb line of said River Avenue the grade shall be as follows: At a point opposite the northerly corner of 38th. Street, 106.70. At a point opposite the easterly corner of 39th. Street, 106.80. At a point opposite the northerly corner of 39th. Street, 106.84. At a point opposite the easterly! corner of 40th. Street. SECTION TEN. The elevations herein given are for the tops of the curbs of the respective streets, are in feet and are above the. ,City ,Datum Plane as heretofore adopted and established. At all pofmtst between consecutive designated points on the same side of the respective streets, the grade shall conform to a true and uniform gradient along they curb lines of the respective streets. between said designated points. All distances between designated Points. for which the grade is herein estab- lished are to be measured along the curb lines, unless specifically herein otherwise provided. In cases where grades are established and refer to the curb lines they are in all cases I estdblished at a point opposite the i corner mentioned of the respective streets, unless specifically otherwise i provided. SECTION ELEVEN. j The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be Published by one insertion in the.
