AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING
CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS
AND ALLEYS ARE LAID OUT^
AND SHORN UPON A MAP OF
TRACT NO. 518 AS RECORDED
IN MISCELLANEOUS MAPS BOOB
17, PAGES 33, 34, 35 AND 36, RE.
CORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY
CALIFORNIA, AS PUBLIC[
STREETS OF SAID CITY, AND
DESIGNATING THE NAMES BY
WHICH SAID STREETS SHALL
BE KNOWN' AND CALLED AND
ESTABLISHING THE OFFICIAL
GRADES OF ALL OF SAID
STREETS AND ALLEYS AND
ESTABLISHING? THE CURB
LINES OF ALL OF SAID STREETS
AND OF ALL OF SAID 30 FOOT
WIDE ALLEYS.
The Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach do ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1.
That all those portions of G Street,
I Street, L Street, M Street, Channel
Road, Central Avenue. Plaza Del
Norte. Plaza Del Sur, Miramar Drive,
Ocean Boulevard and all alleys, as
Bald 1[ereflbefore mentioned streets
and alleys are laid out and shown up-
on a Map of Tract No. 518, as re-
corded in Miscellaneous Maps Book
17, Pages 33. 34, 35 and 36, Records
of Orange County. California, are
hereby accepted as open public streets
and alleys of the City of Newport
Beach and the names by which said
Public streets shall be known and
called are hereby declared to be the
names of the respective streets, as
said names appear and are shown
upon the aforesaid Map of Tract .

' SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustee:
of the City of Newport Beach oli the
28th. day of May, 1923, at a regular
meeting of the said Board of 'Trus-
tees held o nthat date duly passed
and adopted a resolution, being Re-
solution No. 239, entitled, "A Resolu-
tion of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beach declaring
their intention to vacate, close -up and
abandon for public street purposes a
certain portion of Smeltzer Avenue
and a certain alley within the said
City." and —
WHEREAS, the Street superinten-
dent of the City of Newport Beach
after the passage of said Resolution
caused to be conspicously posted
along the line of said contemplated
improvement at not more roan three
hundred feet in distance apart upon
said street and alley and not less than
three in all upon said street or alley,
notices of the passage of said resolu-
tion, said notice being headed, "No-
tice of Public Work," in letters not
less than one inch in length and stat-
ing the fact of the passage of said
resolution, its date and briefly the
work of improvement proposed, be-
ing that of vacating the above named
street and alley as hereinafter de-
scribed, and the said notice herein
mentioned referred to said resolution
for further particulars; said street
superintendent having also caused
a'notice similar to that hereinbefore
referred to to be published by four
successive insertions in th New ort
damages or expense occasioned by or

assessment is necessary to ply the,
