certify that the foregoing ordinance,
being Ordinance No. 261, was pass-
ed by the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beach,' signed by
the President of said Board and at-
tested by the City Clerk, all at a reg-
ular meeting thereof, held on the tat
day of September, 1924, and that the
same was passed by the following..

THYST AVENUE, ONYX AVENUE
AND MARINE AVENUE WITHD
SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach do ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1.
That the northerly and southerly
curb lines of Central Avenue from the
easterly line of Collins Avenue to a
line 180 feet easterly of and parallel
with the easterly line of Marine Ave-
nue are hereby re- located and estab-
lished at a distance of 14 feet north-
erly and southerly of and parallel
1with the center line of said Central
Avenue; and

feet southerly of and parallel with the

erly of Park-Avenue to the center line
of Park Avenue are hereby re- located
Pnd established at a distance of 13.50
feet easterly and westerly of and
parallel with the center line of said
Marine Avenue.
The grades heretofore established
-for the respective curb lines of the
aforesaid streets, or portions of
streets, as heretofore adopted and es-
tablished, shall be the grades for the
corresponding parts of said curb
lines of the said respective streets as
hereby re- located and established.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect
upon its passage. The City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this Ordin-
ance and cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the Newport News, a
weekly newspaper of general circula-
tion printed, published and circulated
in said City.
