AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF,
NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING-
THE NAME BY WHICH CERTAIN
LAUDS DEEDED TO THE SAIDI
CITY, FOR PUBLIC STREET AND
HIGHWAY PURPOSES, SHALL BE
KNOWN AND CALLED. i
The Board of Trustees of the City,
of Newport Beach do ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION I. 1
That those certain pieces or par -I
cels of land heretofore deeded to the.
City of Newport Beach, together!
forming one larger parcel of land, the
exterior boundaries of which are des-
cribed as beginning at the inter -)
section of the northwesterly line of i
B Street, and a line, which line is
six (6) feet northeasterly of and
parallel with the southwesterly line
Iof Central Avenue,.as said Central
Avenue is laid out and shown upon
a map of the Fast Side Addition to
the Balboa Tract, as recorded in
lMiscellaneous Maps Book 4, page 20,
Records of Orange County, California;
.thence southeasterly along a line,
which line is six (6) feet northeast -
erly of and parallel with the south-
westerly line of the aforesaid Central
Avenue, to its intersection with the
n rtherly line of Section 2, Township
7 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M.;
thence westerly along the northerly
line of the aforesaid Section 2, to its
intersection with the southwesterly
line of the aforesaid Central Avenue;
thence southeasterly along the south-
easterly prolongation of the south-
westerly line of that part of the
aforesaid Central Avenue lying east -i
erly of E Street, to its intersection'
with the westerly line of Block A, of
Tract No. 518, as per map thereof re —
corded in Miscellaneous Maps Book)
17, pages 33, 34, 35 and 36, Records
of Orange County, California; thence
northeasterly along the westerly line
of the aforesaid Block A, and along
the northerly prolongation of the
westerly line of said Block A. to its
i Intersection with the northerly line
of the aforesaid Section 2; thence
easterly along the northerly line of
the aforesaid Section 2, to the north-
easterly corner thereof; thence north-
erly along the easterly line of Sec -,
tion 35, Township 6 South, Range 10
West, S. B. B. & M. to its intersection
with a line, which line is six (6)
feet southerly of and parallel with
the northerly line of the aforesaid
Central Avenue, as laid out and
shown upon the aforesaid map of the
East Side Addition to the Balboa'
Tract; thence westerly and north-
westerly along a line, which line is
six (6) feet southerly and south-
westerly of and parallel with the
northerly and northeasterly line of
the aforesaid Central Avenue, to its
intersection with the northwesterly 1
line of B Street; thence southwesterly
along the northwesterly Iine of mid,
B Street, to the place of beginning,'
is hereby declared to be a public
street in the City of Newport Beach,
and the name by wjilch said street
hereinbefore described shall be known
and called is hereby declared to be
[ "CENTRAL AVENUE."
SECT IBR"-II.
The Cif Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and cause
the same to be published by one (1)
insertion in the Newport News, a
semi- weekly newspaper printed, pub-
lished and circulated In saMd City, and,
hereby designated for that purpose.
This Ordinance shall take effect
upon its ,passage. 1

of November, 1925.

1925, and that the same was adopted 1
by the' following vote, to-wit:
Ayes: Trustees, WILSON, YOUNG,
j RICHTER, WILKINSON.
Noes: Trustees, none.
Absent: Trustees, SLOAN.
