tees of the City of Newport Beach.

a regular meeting of said Board
held on that date, duly passed and
adopted a Resolution, being Reso-
lution No. 227, entitled. ,A Reso-

Provided for is the closing -up of

THE SALARY- OF THE iXAH.

PEALING THAT PORTION OF
ANY ORDINANCE IN COS_
FLICT THEREII'ITH.
The Board of Trustees of the
rity of Newport Beach do ordain'
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The salary of the Marshal of
the City of Newport Beach is
hereby fixed at the sum of $500.00
per moll h, and which salary shall
be paid at the same time and in
the same manner as the salaries
of all other officers of the said
city are paid.
SECTION 2.
That portion of all ordinances
of the city of Newport Beach. -pre
scribing a different salary for fhb
Marshal thereof, is hereby repeal-
ed.
SECTION 3.
The above and foregoing OrdhtL
lance shall be Printed once in THE
NEWPORT NEWS, a newspaper
Of general circulation printed.
Published and circulated in the
city of Newport Beach, and shall
take effect and be in force thirty
days after its Passage.
