ORDINANCE NO.,
ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, Ca.lifor-
nia, does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the annexation to the City of Newport
Beach, California, of that certain uninhabited territory contigu-
ous to said City, and hereinafter described, is hereby approved.
That said territory is particularly described as follows:
The following described property situated in the
County of Orange, State of California, towit:
Beginning at a point in the boundary line of the
City of Newport Beach, said point being in the easterly
line of County Highway 60 feet in width as described in
the Petition for Public Highway, Newport Beach Road, as
recorded in Book 250, page 73, Records of Orange County,
California, said point being 200 feet southerly from
the intersection of said easterly line with the center
line of Old County Road, 50 feet in width as shown upon
a Map of tract 464, recorded in Book 32, page 1, Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
Thence, northwesterly to a point in the northwesterly
line of the 60 foot Right of Way of the California State
Highway, described in the Deed recorded June 30, 1934, in
Book 683, page 248, of Official Records of Orange County,
California, said point being 260.00 feet northerly of the
Intersection of the northerly line of the west ramp of the
California State Highway described as second in Deed record-
ed June 12, 1931, in Book 489, page 67, of Official Records
with said northwesterly line, said point also being in the
southeasterly line of property deeded to the Presbyterian
Hospital of Orange County, California, a California cor-
poration, by D. K. Blue and Sabra E. Blue, husband and
wife, and L. G. Goodman and Pearl Goodman, husband and
wife, February 8th, 1946, in Official Records No.1398,
page 20, Records of Orange County, California,
Thence, southerly along said northwesterly line of the
60 foot RIC;ht of Way a distance of 260.00 feet to said
Intersection with said northerly line of the west ramp,
thence, westerly along the northerly line of said west
ramp, said northerly line being a curve concave to the
southeast, having a radius of 450 feet, through an angle
of 190 51' 06" a distance of 155.91 feet,.
Thence, north 260 301 09" ',Nest, 584.24 feet,
Thence, northwesterly along a curve concave to the

southwest having a radius of 514.46 feet through an angle
of 120 30' 43" a distance of 112.34 feet,
Thence, northwesterly along a curve concave to the
northeast having a radius of 409.51 feet through an angle
of 150 41t 02" a distance of 112.10 feet,
Thence, north 230 19t 50" west, a distance of 253.42
feet,
Thence, northwesterly along a curve concave to the
northeast having a radius of 1000 feet through an angle of
120 50' 04" a distance of 224.00 feet,
Thence, north 100 29' 46" west a distance of 190.75
feet,
Thence, south 890 59' east, a distance of 1019.26 feet
to an intersection with the northwesterly line of said 60
foot Right of `. ?ay of the California State Highway described
In Book 683, page 248 of Official Records of Orange County,
Thence, southwesterly along said northwesterly line of
60 foot Right of Way 1011.39 feet,
Thence, southeasterly to a point in the City Boundary
of the City of Newport Beach, said point being in the
easterly line of said County Highway 60 fee.in width,
recorded in Book 250, page 73, Records of Orange County,
California, said point being 100 feet southerly from the
Intersection of said Old County Road, 50 feet in width as
shown upon a Map of tract 464,
Thence, southerly along said easterly line of County
Highway 60 feet in width to the point of beginning.
That the territory herein described shall hereafter be
known as The Presbyterian Hospital of Orange County.
Section 2. That the boundaries of the City of Newport
Beach, California, be and the same are hereby altered to include
the above- described territory, the annexation of which is approved
and ordained herein and incorporated in the City of Newport Beach,
California.
Section 3. That the proceedings and annexation herein or-
dained are had and taken under and pursuant to the provisions of
an act of the Legislature of the State of California, designated
and referred to as the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act
of 193911, and amendments thereto.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to
be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at least

lation, published and circulated in the City of Newport Beach.
The above and foregoing Ordinance No.55% was passed
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport
