AN ORDINANCE OF THE'
C I T Y COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT
E E A C H, A.SIENDINO SECG-
TION (;219 OF THE MUNICI-
PAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH PRO -
HIBITING CARD TABLE
ESTABLISITMENTS IN THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does hereby or-
dain as fclows:
SECTION 1: Section 6219 of
the Municipal Code of the City
of N e w p o r t Beach is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 6219 Card Table Es-
tablishment at which cards are
played, prohibited."
SECS'ION 2: This Ordinance
shall he published once in the-
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,.
printed and published in the City
of Ncvjport Beach, and the same
shall be in full force and effect'
30 days after this passage.
The foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach, held on the
27th day of April, 1953, and was
finally passed and adopted on the
11th day of May, 1953, by the
following vote, to -wit:

Smith, Finch, Isbell,
Bennett, Miller
NOES, COUNCILMEN:

ABSENT COUNCIL,
