ORDINANCE NO. 863
AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING DISTRICT MAP
NO. 31 ADOPTED BY SEC-
TION 9102.2 OF THE NEW-
PORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZON-
ING AND SETBACK LINES.
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: District Map No.
31 adopted by Section 9102.2 and
made a part of Article IX of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code
is amended to establish building
setback lines for the hereinafter
described real property in the
City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, as
follows:
(a) The front building
setback line for Lots 1
through 30, 46 and 47 in
Tract 3357, as per map re-
corded in Miscellaneous Map
Book 107, Pages 1 through 7,
Records of s a i d Orange
County, shall be fifteen feet
(15').
(b) The front building set-
back line for Lot 31 in said
Tract 3357 shall be twenty
feet (20').
(c) The front building set-
back line for Lot 45 in said
Tract 3357 shall be twenty -
five feet (25').
(d) The front building set-
back line for Lots 32 through
44 in said Tract 3357 shall be
forty feet (40').
(e) The front building set-
back line for Lots 48 through
140 in said Tract 3357 shall
be forty feet (40')
(f) The front building set-
back 11 n e for Lots 141
through 177 in said Tract
3357 shall be twenty feet
(20').
(g) The setback line at the
northerly side of Lot 177 in
said Tract 3357 shall be
twenty feet (20').
(h) The rear setback line
for Lots 1 through 177 in said
Tract 3357 shall be six feet
(6').
SECTION 2: The City Engi-
neer of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and
directed to change District Map
No. 31 so as to show the build-
ing setback lines described in
Section 1 hereof and, as said
District Map shall have been so
amended, the same shall remain
in full force and effect and be a
part of Ordinance No. 635 of the,
City of Newport Beach and Arti-
cle IX of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall be effective 30 days
after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 14th day of
October, 1958, and was adopted
on the 10th day of November,
1958, by the following vote, to-
wit:
AYES: HART, SOMERS, LOR-
ENZ, ATKINSON, HIGBIE, STOD-
DARD.
NOES: NONE.
ABSENT: KINGSLEY.
