AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH RE-
PEALING SECTIONS 7207 AND
7209, ADDING A NEW SEC-
TION 7207, AND AMENDING
SECTIONS 7210, 7211,7211(a),
7215, 7216, 7219, 7220, 7221,
AND 7229 IN THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RE-
LATING TO THE SERVICE OF
WATER AND RATES THERE-
FOR
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
'SECTION 1. Sections 7207 and
7209 of the Newport Beach Mu-
nicipal Code are hereby repealed.
'SECTION 2. A new Section 7207
is added to the Newport Beach
Municipal Code to read:
"SECTION 7207. SEPARATE
SERVICE CONNECTIONS RFd-

houses or buildings under

a single lot or on a single
parcel of land may be sup.

provided for each house or

SECTION 9. Section 7220 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code

SECTION 10. Section 7221 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is amended to read:

DEPOSIT. In the event that
the applicant for water serv-
ice shall not be the owner

not own the improvements
thereon, a deposit shall be
required as follows:

SECTION H. Section 7229 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"SECTION 7229. SAME.

any meter is made, the per-
son requesting the test shall

SECTION 12. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its ad-

This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 25th day of
July, 1960, and was adopted on
the 8th day of August, 1960, by
the following vote, to wit:
