AN ORDINANCE OF THE
-CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 3291.7
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO PARKING METER
'OPERATION
The City Council of the city
of Newport Beach does ordain
.as follows:
- ,SECTION 1. Section 3291.7
of the Newport Beach Munici-
pal Code is amended to read:
"SECTION 3291.7. Excep-
tions. A vehicle may be
"parked and remain parked in
a parking space in any park-
ing meter zone open to park-
ing without the deposit of
any Coin in the parking me-
ter adjacent thereto during
time other than that desig-
nated by resolution of the
City Council as time during
which deposits are required.
In off - street parking meter
zones established by resolu-
tion - pursuant to Section
3290.1 of this Code, a vehicle
may be parked and remain
parked in a parking space
without the deposit of coin
In the parking meter adla-
cent, thereto if such vehicle
-itas displayed a current valid
parking meter permit issued
by the City pursuant to the
authorization of the City
Council established by resolu-
tion.•,
SECTION 2. This ordinance
Shell be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective)
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was introduc-
ed at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the
14th day of May, 1962, and was,
adopted on the 28th day of May,,
1962, by the following vote,'
