AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI-
TY OF NEWPORT BEACH A-
MENDING SECTIONS 9106.21
AND 9106.51 OF THE NEW-
PORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO FEES
FOR USE PERMITS AND A-
MENDMENTS
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1, Section 9106.21
of the Newport Beach Munici-
pal Code is amended to read:
"SECTION 9106.21. Appli-
cation.
(a) Application for Use Per-
mit shall be made to the
Planning Commission in wri-
ting on a form prescribed by
the Commission and shall be
accompanied by a fee of
Thirty Dollars ($30.00) and
by plans and elevations ne-
cessary to show the detail of
the proposed building or use."
SECTION 2. Section 9106. 51
of the Newport Beach Munici-
pal Code is amended to ,read:
"SECTION 9106.51. Initia-
tion.
(a) An amendment may be
initiated by:
(1) The verified petition of
oneormore owners of Proper-
ty affected by the proposed
amendment, which petition
shall be filed with the Plan -
ning Commission and shall be
accompanied by a fee of One
Hundred Dollars ($100.00), no
part of which shall be return-
able to the petitioner, or by
(2) Resolution of intention
of the City Council, or by
(3) Resolution of intention
of the Planning Commission:"
SECTION 3. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be. effective
30daysafter the date of its ad-
option.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the Ci-
ty Council of the City of New -_
portBeachheld on the 27th day
of August, 1962, and was ad-
opted on the 11th day of Sep-
tember, 1962, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
