AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI-
TY OF NEWPORT BEACH A-
MENDING SECTION 3298.1
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO INCREASED SPEED LIMIT
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3298.1
or the Newport Beach Munici-
pal Code is amended to read:
"SECTION 3298.1. Increas-
ed Speed Limit - 30 M. P. H.
T e prima facie speed limit
onthefollowingnamed streets
orparts thereof shall be thirty
(30) miles per hour.
Irvine Avenue from Dover
Drive to Santa Isabel Avenue.
Santa Isabel Avenue from It-
vice Avenue to Tustin Ave-
nue.
Cliff Drive from Riverside
Avenue to Dover Drive.
Newport Boulevard from
West Coast Highway northerly
to 15th Street.
Newport Boulevard from
Finley Avenue to 21st Street. "
SECTION 2. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30daysafter the date of its ad-
option.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the Ci-
ty Council of the of New-
port Beach held o. the 14th day
of January, 1963, and was ad-
opted on the 11th day of Febru-
ary, 1963, by the following
vote, to wit:
