ORDINANCE NO. 1201.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING
SECTION 12.44.040 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
• CODE RELATING TO PARKING METER FEES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.44.040 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
1112,44,040 Parking Meter Fees. Fees for parking
at par nk� g meters in zones establ si hed by Section 12.44.020
when the parking meters are in operation are hereby estab-
lished as follows:
(a) Twenty cents per hour for parking meters on Fif-
teenth Street between Ocean Front and Newport Bay in zone
six.
(b) Ten cents per hour for parking meters in the re-
mainder of zone six and in the portions of zone five con-
sisting of the first four parking spaces on each side of
Via Oporto southerly of Via Lido, the three parking spaces
on each side of Via Oporto between Via Malaga and 32nd
Street, and the first parking space on the southerly side
of Via Malaga easterly of Via Oporto.
(c) Twenty -five cents for any time up to twelve hours
for parking meters in the portions of zone five on Via
Malaga and on Via Oporto between Via Lido and 32nd Street
not included in subparagraph (b),
(d) Five cents per hour for parking meters in the
remainder of zone five and in all other zones."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 0 l
day of January, 1967, and was adopted on the 22 °2 day of
1967, by the following vote, to wit:
