AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 19.36,010 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO INITIATION
OF APPEALS TO THE CITY COUNCIL
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 19.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
°°19.36.010 Initiation of Appeal. Appeal may be made
to the City Council from any decision, determination or
requirement of the Planning Commission or City Engineer by
filing a notice thereof in writing with the City Clerk
within twenty -one (21) days after such decision or deter-
mination or requirement is made. Such notice shall set
forth in detail the action and the ground by and upon which
the subdivider deems himself aggrieved."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 24th
day of January , 19 72 , and was adopted on the 14th
day of February , 1972 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnia, Kymla,
Hirth, Dostal, Parsons
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Croul
