AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.24.055 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A SPEED
LIMIT ON JAMBOREE BOULEVARD FROM BRISTOL
STREET TO CAMPUS DRIVE
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.24.055 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"12.24.055 Prima Facie Speed Limit -- Fifty -five
Miles Per Hour. The prima facie speed limit on the
following named streets or parts thereof shall be fifty -
five miles per hour:
Jamboree Road from East Coast Highway to Ford Road.
Jamboree Boulevard from Bristol Street to Campus
Drive."
• SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the

14th day of January 197, and was adopted on the

28th day of January 197, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Rogers,
Croul, Dostal, Kymla, Ryckoff, Store
NOES, COUNCILMEN• None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
