HomeMy WebLinkAbout1710 - Amendment 477 - Sea IslandORDINANCE NO. 1710 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH • REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICTING MAP NO. 48 AND ESTABLISHING THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR "SEA ISLAND" (AMENDMENT NO. 477) The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The following described real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: That portion of Blocks 55 and 94 of Irvine's Subdivision, in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Jamboree Road, as described in deed recorded June 17, 1966 in Book 7964, page 631 of Official Records of • Orange County, California, said point being the northerly terminus of that certain course cited therein as "North 33 °47115" East tangent to said curve 2163.40 feet "; thence on a different basis of bearings and at right angles to said centerline South 55 018105" East 66.00 feet to the south- easterly line of said Jamboree Road; thence north- easterly along said southeasterly line, being a tangent curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 1534.00 feet, through a central angle of 14 037'23" an arc distance of 391.51 feet; thence tangent to said curve and continuing along said southeasterly line North 49 019118" East 279.31 feet; thence South 30 °35'03" East 126.47 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence South 14 002110" East 47.18 feet; thence South 39 000143" East 101.67 feet; thence South 07 0.35'41" East 30.27 feet; thence South 12 008113" West 95.13 feet; thence South 21 045'44" West 272.42 feet; thence South 10 047103" East 171.02 feet; thence South 11 011'20" West 371.05 feet; thence South 26 016109" West 259.83 feet; thence South 35 002110" West 106.25 feet; thence South 78 006'41" West 77.67 feet; thence North 78 013154" West 122.58 feet; thence South 80 032116" West 91.24 feet; thence South 50 004'47" West 127.78 feet; thence South 55 009143" West 152.30 feet; thence South 75 025'01" West 127.09 feet; thence North 76 039'05" West 62.34 feet; • thence North 58 034108" East 452.95 feet; thence North 80 053152" West 225.00 feet; thence North 21 057'36" East 244.07 feet; thence North 12 032'08" East 1090.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 1000 feet; thence northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 03 °12'51" an arc distance of 56.10 feet to the True Point of Beginning. • as shown on Districting Map No. 48, referred to in Section 20.01.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from the "U" District to the "P -C" District, and said District- ing Map No. 48 is hereby amended to show this zoning. SECTION 2. The Director of the Community Development Department of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change Districting Map No. 48 to show the zoning change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said Districting Map shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code. SECTION 3. SECTION 4. Copies of said Development Plan and Development Standards are on file in the Offices of the City Clerk and Department of Community Development for the City of • Newport Beach and are made a part hereof by this reference. SECTION 5. The Community Development Director of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to show said amendment on said property and P -C District, as described hereinabove; and as said P -C District shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption. This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 14th day of Rebruagy, , 1977, and was adopted on the 14th day of 'March , 1977, by the following vote, • to wit: CERTIFIED AS TiT.
