'ORT BEACH POLICE DF,PARTMEN1 MEMORANDUM To: Detective Doug Jones From: Detective Dave Stark Subject: Fury - October 18, 2007 Date: 10/24/2007 Time: 1:08:01 PM On Thursday night (10/18/07), myself and other detectives visited Fury while working in an undercover capacity. We arrived shortly after 2100 hours and were greeted at the front ramp by one of the security staff who checked our ID's. Once inside, I noted that the establishment was approximately one quarter full. The interior music was being played at a moderate level so conversations could occur without yelling. I spoke with the bartender regarding food service. She told me that I could order the full menu until 2300 hours and then just sushi was available after that. At approximately 2230 hours, the establishment was about three quarters full. The DJ was playing music at the normal club level (extremely loud), requiring one to shout or talk directly into someone's ear. The dance floor was full with approximately 30 - 40 patrons dancing. The majority of dining tables had been prepared for VIP service (large buckets of ice and stacked glasses were placed on them). There were hosts standing by the entrances of these dining tables. At about midnight, I walked through the establishment and did not see food service anywhere in the restaurant. Throughout the night, the establishment never approached capacity and there was no line in front. We left at 0040 hours. D. Stark #1268 0 Please Reply, Via\
