ORDINANCE NO. 88 -10
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 20.02.064 TO THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE AS IT PERTAINS TO THE
INSTALLATION OF BOAT CRANES ON PROPERTY WITH MARINE -ORIEN
IN EXCESS OF PERMITTED HEIGHT LIMITS WITHOUT THE
REQUIREMENT OF SECURING A USE PERMIT OR A VARIANCE
(Planning Commission Amendment No. 660)
USES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION I. Section 20.02.064 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is
hereby added to read as follows:
20.02.064 BOAT CRANES. Boat cranes used in conjunction
with an approved marine - oriented use may be permitted to
exceed the basic height limit applicable to the District
in which it is located, up to a maximum operating height
of seventy (70) feet, subject to the approval of the Plan-
ning Commission.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, held on the 11th day of April, 1988,
and adopted on the 25th day of April , 1988, by the following vote:
