ORDINANCE NO. 91 -30
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 13.06.020 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE APPLICATION
FEE IN CONNECTION WITH CURB CUTS AND OTHER
ALTERATIONS TO PUBLIC STREETS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13.06.020 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is amended to read:
1113.06.020 Application. An applicant for a permit hereunder
shall file with the Public Works Director and application showing (1)
name and address of the owner, or agent in charge, of the property
abutting the proposed work area; (2) name and address of the party
doing the work; (3) location of the work area; (4) plan showing
details of the proposed work; (5) such other information as the Public
Works Director shall find reasonably necessary to the determination
of whether or not a permit should be issued hereunder. The amount of
the fee is to be established by resolution of the City Council."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective 30
days after the date of this adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 24th day of
June , 1991, and was adopted on the 8th day
of July , 1991, by the following vote, to wit:

SANSONE, HART, COX, PLUMMER
NOES, COUNCILPERSONS:
NONE
ABSENT COUNCILPERSONS: NONE
