ORDINANCE NO. 91 -34
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DELETING CHAPTER
12.66.081 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE PERTAINING TO THE APPLICATION OF THE
VEHICLE CODE TO PRIVATE ROADS IN THE
POINT DEL MAR DEVELOPMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The provisions of Section 12.66.081
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is deleted:
12.66.081 Delete application of
Vehicle Code to private roads in
the Point del Mar development.
The provisions of the California
Vehicle Code shall not apply to
any streets in the Point del Mar
development.
Section 2: The Mayor shall sign and the City
Clerk shall attest to the passage of this Ordinance. The
City Clerk shall cause the same to be published once in the
official newspaper within fifteen (15) days after its
adoption.
Section 3: This Ordinance was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 12th day of August, 1991, and adopted on
the 26th day of August, 1991, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEMBERS HEDGES,
WATT, TURNER, SANSONE, HART,
COX, PLUMMER
NOES, COUNCILMEMBERS NONE
ABSENT COUNCILMEMBERS NONE
