My name is Marilyn Fox, I am the owner of the above noted property on Seaward in Corona del
Mar.
These properties have been in disrepair since my mother died and vacated her unit several years
ago. Two of the units have not been occupied in over 18 months. The tenants left of their own
volition and were not evicted. I attempted to repair them and found the work and cost exceeded
the usefulness of the structure. I then engaged an architect to design new structures as it is more
economical than repairing the existing. We found in the design phase that 3 units are impractical
on the site given current construction standards, design standards and codes.
My architect and son, Gregory Fox are available at the public hearing for your questions.
