HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-30 - Amending Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code By Amending Portions of Districting Maps No. 22 and 25 so as to Reclassify Certain Property from the R- 3(2178) District to the APF District (Amendment No. 803)• • • ORDINANCE NO. 94 -30 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING TITLE 20 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING PORTIONS OF DISTRICTING MAPS NO. 22 AND 25 SO AS TO RECLASSIFY CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE R- 3(2178) DISTRICT TO THE APF DISTRICT (AMENDMENT NO. 803) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Districting Maps No. 22 and 25 are hereby amended for the property located at 1455 F and 1455 J Superior Avenue, changing the zoning designation from the "R- 3(2178)" District to the "APF" District for the following described properties: Parcel "F": That portion of Lot 818 of First Addition to Newport Mesa Tract, in the County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 8, Page 61 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 818, running thence North 89° 41' East along the southerly boundary of said lot, a distance of 50 feet; thence North 0° 19 West on a line parallel to the westerly boundary of said lot, a distance of 165 feet; thence South 89° 41' West on a line parallel to the northerly boundary of said lot, a distance of 50 feet to the midpoint of the westerly boundary of said lot; thence South 0° 19' East along the westerly boundary of said lot, a distance of 165 feet to the point of beginning; and Parcel "J" That portion of Lot 918 of First Addition to the Newport Mesa Tract, in the County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 8, Page 61 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Lot 918, running thence South 89° 42' West along the northerly boundary of said lot, a distance of 137.085 feet; thence South 0° 19' East along a line parallel to the easterly boundary of said lot, a distance of 158.88 feet; thence North 89° 41' East along a line parallel to the northerly boundary of said lot, a distance of 137.085 feet to the easterly boundary of said lot; thence North 0° 19' West along the easterly boundary of said lot, a distance of 158.88 feet, to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change Districting Maps No. 22 and 25 referred to in Section 20.01.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and by such reference made part of Title 20, to reflect the changes described in Section 1(above), and when said Districting Map has been so amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code. SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall attest to the passage of this Ordinance. This Ordinance shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall become effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
