Planning Commissioners are citizens of Newport Beach who volunteer to serve on the
Planning Commission. They were appointed by the City Council by majority vote for 4-
year terms. At the table in front are City staff members who are here to advise the
Commission during the meeting. They are:

SHARON Z. WOOD, Assistant City Manager RICH EDMONSTON, Transportation &
Development Services Manager

It is the intention of the City of Newport Beach to comply with the Americans With Disabilities

Commission — Speakers must limit comments to 3- minutes. Before
speaking, please state your name for the record.

SUMMARY: General Plan Update - Review draft goals and policies for the Historical
Resources element.
ACTION: Discuss and recommend potential changes to the draft Historical Resources
element.
ITEM NO. 2
SUMMARY: General Plan Update - Review draft goals and policies for the Arts and
Cultural Resources element.
ACTION: Discuss and recommend potential changes to the draft Arts and Cultural
Resources element.
ITEM NO. 3
SUMMARY: General Plan Update - Review draft goals and policies for the Public Safety
element.
ACTION: Discuss and recommend potential changes to the draft Public Safety
element.
