AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING CHAPTER 5.10 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SPECIAL EVENT PERMITS.
SECTION 1: Section 5.10.025 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is hereby
• amended to read as follows:
5.10.025 NBMC Use of public beaches. The City Manager may approve special event
permits for the use of public beaches. (Ord. 1326 § 1, 1970).
SECTION 2: Section 5.10.027 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
5.10.027 NBMC Display of Fireworks. The City Manager may approve special event
permits for the display of fireworks. (Ord. 1860 § 1, 1980).
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on January 22, 1996, and adopted the 12th day of FebruarV 1996,
by the following vote, to wit:
• AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS O'IZIL, MUMS, DEBAY.
DOGES, MX, GLp ' WATP
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS
