ORDINANCE NO. 96 -38
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTION 12.48.050(A)
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
PERTAINING TO THE MEANING OF GREEN CURB
MARKING OUTSIDE PARKING METER ZONES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 12.48 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 12.48.050(A). Green shall mean no standing or parking for
longer than thirty minutes or such shorter time as may be indicated outside a parking
meter zone at any time between seven a.m. and six p.m. of any day."
Section The City Clerk shall cause the same to be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and it shall be effective thirty (30) days after its
adoption.
Section : This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 23rd day of
September 1996, and adopted on the 28th
day of October , 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
