A Resolution of the city council of the city of Newport
Beach declaring that the public interest and also the public nen-
venience require, and that it is the intention of the city council
of-the city of-Newport Beach to order an improvement made in said
city, describing the improvement to be made, and the land deemed
necess::sy to be taken therefor, and specifying the exterior bound-
aries of the district of lands to be affected or benefited by said
- ,improvement, and to be assessed to pay the damages, cost and ex-
penses thereof, directing the posting and publication of notices
and designating the newspaper in which such publication shall be
shade.
The City council of the city of Newport Beach does
resolve and declare as follows:
Section 1-
Resolved that the public interest and also the public
convenienne requires it, and that it is the intention of the city
council of the city of Newport Beach to order an improvement made
in said city. The said improvement to consist of, and is described
as follows:
The opening and extending of Bay Avenue, a public street
in the city of Newport Beach from the point of its present terminus
on the westerly line of Twenty-third (23rd) street through to the
easterly line of Thirtieth (30th) street in said city, the portion
of Bay Avenue to be opened and extended to be twenty -five feet in
width, more or less.
Section 2-
Resolved that it will be necessary to take certain lands
in making the said improvement,- to -wit: the opening and extending
of Bay Avenue as described in Section 1 of this resoltLtion of In-
tention, and that the lands deemed necessary to be taken therefor
are described as follows:

I, C. K. PRIEST, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to
the records of the City of Newport Beach filed and main-
tained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No._ 1
was duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 2nd day of
November 9 19 14 ? by the following vote,
to wit:
