The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Reach do
resolve as follows:
Saction 1.
That the public interest and convenience require acid it
is the intention of the Board of Trustecs of the City of
Helvpurt Beach t�) order the fulloming work to be dune, to -grit:
That ceisent pipe sanitary se,7ers be constructed in the
following location: In 19th Street and in the firstalley south-
erly of Central Avenue from the manhole already constructed at
the intersection of the center line of 19th Street and the
^estarly prolongation of the center line of the first alley
southerly of Central Avenue; thence eaftarly across 15th Street
and along the first alley southerly of Central Avenue to a
line 5 feet westerly of an parallel ^ith the westerly line of
17th Street;
And in the first alley southerly of Oeiitral Avcnue frow the
L,znholo already constructed at the i itersectioi; of the center
line of 17th Street and the center line of the first alley
southerly u£ Central Avenue; thence e..st.;rly along the first
alley southerly of Central Avenue to the cent,:r like of the
first alley -esterly of 15th Street;

the cost thereof.

easterly to the manhole already constructed at the intersection

All of the aforesaid cement pipe sanitary senors shall be
constructed across all streetjy and alley intersections or per -
tionU thereof between the points on the grades, at the elevatiox:e
and along the lines of said sei7ors, together with manholes,
cast iron frames and covers and other arpurtexvanccs all as
shorn upon the plans and profiles of said servers i:umbcred 25::
and 260, adopted by Resolution i1o. /,7 and plans ;umbered 2337
2347 235 and 236, adopted Ly Resolution .:o. 132 of the Board
of Trustees of the City of Nerport Beach and on file in the
office of the City Engineer of said City; and in further accord-

Section 2.
That the said conteiitplated work or in;provement in the
opinion of said Board of TruBteeB is of more than local or
ordinary public benefit and the said Hoard of Trustees makes
the expense of said -pork or improve;:;ont chargeable upon the
District hereinafter described and declares that the District
in said City of Newport each benefited by said wort: or
improve;eent izi described as follows:
Beginning at the intcrsection.of the southerly line of
Ce:;tral Avenue and the easterly line of 14th Street; thence
westerly along thu southerly line of Central Avenue to its
intersection with the vcsterly line of 19th Street; thence
southerly along; the ^ester y line of 13th Street to the north-
erly line of Ocean Avenue; thence easterly along the northerly
line of Ocean Avenue to tae easterly lire of 14th Street;
t.cnce northerly along the easterly line of 14th Street to the
southerly line of Central Avenue the place of be6i,, -uinE,
excepting therefrom any lands for;..ing a.-,,r part of any public
street or alley.
For further identification and description of said
Assessment District reference is hereby made to a ;dap thereof
designated as Plan Ale. 2061, Assess,�.ent District for the i;t.-
rroveruent of the first alley southerly of Central Avenue and
other streets and alleys ap ^roved by the ^oard of Trustees
of said City on the day of /VL4.t- - , 1922, and now on
file in the office of the City Clerk,on which the exterior
boundaries of said District are indicated by red border lines.

• Section 3.
It is hereby deter;:ined and notice is hereby give, that
serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and bear interest
at the rate of seven per cent per annul., will be issued here-
under in the manner provided by the Ii,provewent Eond Act of
1015, the lust instullu,ent of which bonds shall mature fourteen
years from the 2nd day of July next succeedii:g nine months
from their date.
Section 4.
Fxcert as hereiiibefore stated, all the proceedinE6 for
the aforesaid work and improvements shall be had and tLken
under and in accordance with the provisions of an Act of the
Lcgislature of the State of California ki.owni and designated
as the "Improveiaent Act of 1911" as amended.
Section 5.
It is hereby determined and notice is hereby given that

Board of Trustees, in the City Hall of said City, vilich is
hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing of said

Resolution.

The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resulution and shall cause the same to be published twice
in the ;ZPr'PnZT ,1E ^'S, a 7eekly newspaper of general circula-
tion published and circulated in the City of Ideuport Beach,
and hereby designated for that purpose, there being no
daily newspaper published in said City.
