A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City
• of Newport Beach declaring their intention to levy
a special tax tp provide for delinquent assessments
in connection with street improvements for which
serial bonds will be issued under the Improvement
Bond Act of 1915.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do re-
solve as follows:
That it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beach to levy a special tax upon the taxable prop-
erty in said City at the time of fixing the annual tax rate,an
amount not to exceed ten cents on each one hundred dollars of assess-
able proPerty in order to provide for sufficient funds to pay
interest and principal due on serial bonds issued in connection
with street improvements under the Improvement Bond Act of 1915;
the intent and purpose of levying this special tax being that
there are each year a certain amount of delinquent taxes and in order
that the full amounts of the principal and interest due on serial
bonds may be paid when due,the public interest and necessity requires
the levying of a special tax as provided under and in pursuance of
of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915.
