TO BE DONE MMEP THE DIRECTInN, OF THE CITY FPEGINEER
OF SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach, do re-
solve as follows;
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach
did on the �4'tilday of April, 1923, pass a Resolution No. Z L�
ordering the improvement of certain portions of the Promenade
within said City, under the Improvement Act of 1911;
AND 'PHF.RFAS, said Board desires that said work be done under
the direction of the City Engineer;
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach hereby resolve and direct that the aforesaid cork shall be
done under the direction of the City Engineer, and the materials
used shall comply with the specifications and be to the satisfac-
tion of the City F.igineer, instead of the Superintendent of Street.s.
